Linden : Waddling Family Barns

Did you know what a Waddle is what they call a group of Ducks, not a flock? They are also called a Raft when they are together on the water.

Isn’t that fun?! We all could use a raft, a waddle, a family, a community through the hardships in life.

Our family was inspired by the way ducks live together, which gave way to the name of our farm.

If your looking for like minded micro-homesteaders you’ve come to the right place! We are a tiny farm here in the Pacific Northwest. Happily planted in Shelton WA.

Our goal is to help you achieve the self-reliant lifestyle homesteading has to offer. We believe being self-reliant isn’t the same as being independent.

Inter-dependence is the key to successful homesteading, families and communities! Much like a successful waddle works together to keep each other safe from harm.

We are waddling through life together as families & a community!

See our Hello There! page to get to know us & contact with us with any questions or concerns.

You’re also welcome drive by or come take a look from the sidewalk at our always-a-work-in-progress-yard to get ideas for your homestead & see what we are growing.

We also have our duckies & bunnies strategically positioned beside the sidewalk so you and your loved ones can say “Hello”, while they feel safe/hidden behind St. John’s Wort & other low lying shrubs. We are located at:

1627 Summit Drive Shelton, WA.

Our farm stand on the corner of Summit Drive & Bellevue Avenue here in Shelton is a great place to schedule an order pick up. We are also at the Shelton Farmers Market as often as we can.

Successful homesteading has always been about your community; let us help you build your community, village, waddle, raft – the list could go on- here in Shelton, WA!
